Volunteer!
Voice For The Animals is a volunteer-based organization.
There are many volunteer opportunities:
- Walk a dog who is being boarded at a facility.
- Help at Sunday cat and dog adoptions in the Pacific Palisades.
- Transport animals to and from adoption sites.
- Help with digital photography, web posting, video documentation.
- Help with our fundraisers and special events.
Volunteers are the heart of the VFTA Rescue and Adoption Program. Each Sunday, they come to our adoption site in the Pacific Palisades. They help set up the site and explain to passersby the value of adopting a dog or a cat. They help show the dogs and cats. They also take down the site and store our equipment at the end of the adoption.
Volunteers help during the week by walking dogs and transporting dogs and cats to vet appointments. They photograph animals and post information about our adoptable dogs and cats on the internet. They also volunteer at our fundraisers.
Many of our volunteers come for community service credit and stay on as they grow up. The youngest volunteers are in Middle School; the oldest are ageless! Without our volunteers, we couldn't do what we do.
