Isabel, 16

“I volunteer for VFTA because animals have always been a passion of mine. I have always cared about the well-being and treatment of pets. In middle school I learned about all of the cats and dogs that were getting abandoned and mistreated. I wanted to be able to help these animals so I began volunteering at the farmer’s market. I help voice for the animals try to find homes for the cats and dogs. It is extremely rewarding to know that I can make a difference to the animals”

Volunteer of the Month

Isabel is our Volunteer of the Month for September. Isabel has worked hard for the past several months at our Adoption Site. Always on time and willing to work, Isabel can be depended on to follow through with any task. Isabel manages to balance her high school studies with her love of animals. She and her mom continue to help VFTA by being foster parents to some of our cats. Thanks, Isabel
