If we wanted to categorize the characteristics of the profile of someone who abuses animals, we would say that he is a person with:
1- lack of empathy
2- difficulty in developing deep social relationships, and relationships of respect and trust
3- low self-esteem, insecurity and feelings of inadequacy
4- reduced ability to derive pleasure from everyday life
5- intrusive behavior and problems with the law during adolescence
6- manic-depressive symptoms
7- demonstration of power and control over weaker beings
8- outbursts of rage without cause
