Dear Concerned Elephant Supporters, Voice For The Animals requests that you please sign the following petition asking the LA Zoo to release a report concerning the causes of death for both Jewel and Shaunzi, two elephants who recently died at the zoo. The Los Angeles City Council requested this report on May 15th, but to date, the LA Zoo has ignored their request. We need thousands of signatures (organizations, celebrities, businesses, and individuals) to send a strong message to the Zoo. Dear Ms. Verret, The undersigned organizations, celebrities, businesses, and individuals request that the LA Zoo release a report by September 17 clearly stating the causes of death for Jewel and Shaunzi, two elephants who recently died at the LA Zoo. The Los Angeles City Council originally requested this report on May 15, and the Zoo was given 30 days to comply, but it never did. |
